IDW leads the way to Hasbro's shared universe

IDW Publishing has announced that their upcoming Revolution five-parter will bring the worlds of GI Joe, Transformers, Micronauts, Rom and Action Man into one cohesive whole.

While the storyline will change the status quo for the titles, it's not a reboot - everything that happened in the comics before has still happened, they'll just be happening together. Maybe some of the UNIT: E ideas will see the light of day after all.

    Does that really line up? I mean, in IDW continuity so far hasn't Cobra and the Decepticons separately taken over America? It would be funny if one took over from the other, but kinda makes the Joes seem asleep at the wheel...
