Today's review of NECA's Kenner-style Scorpion Alien didn't even hint at how weird the creature could have been. First, though, here's the animal the alien came out of:

A lot more spikes, yes, but also three heads?! How would that have worked? And what does it have to do with a scorpion? They even had a simplified version intended for animation.
Clearly things changed a lot before production.
